The Hunger Game Costumes

There are so many new Halloween Costume Ideas for 2015, there have been several good movies that will make their costumes some of the most popular choices for Halloween this year.

The Hunger Games is a going to be very popular again this year with the upcoming Mockingjay Movie, this will be a great theme for Halloween this year, check out the selection of easy costume ideas below, you can dress up as Katniss, Gale, Eiffie or Petta.

Katniss Everdeen's tan leather jacket is an essential part of your District 12 costume, but there is also her famous Red Dress which is Katniss' pre-Games interview gown.

Then the Hunger Games training shirt which is black with maroon and grey details. On each sleeve and on the upper part of the back has the number 12 written in grey. Lets not forget about a bow and arrow set, these are a hot item this year.

During the Reaping, Katniss wears a simple light blue button-up dress. Though incredibly plain, the dress' matching sash flatters Jennifer Lawrence's hourglass shape

With The Avengers movie out earlier this year these costumes will be a huge success this year, with Superman, The Hulk, Thor, Iron Man and Captain America this is a great theme for a Super Hero's party

The theme to The Avengers movie is Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye and the Hulk battle the evil Loki to protect the Earth

 

You too can make your own Captain America shield!

Supplies needed to make your own Captain America shield:

• 14 inch Styrofoam wreath form (can use larger or smaller but it needs to be a FLAT wreath form where the edges ARE NOT rounded)
• Foam core board in white (2 sheets)
• Americana paint in Red Alert, True Blue, and Snow
• Red ribbon that is approximately the width of your wreath form plus the width of the two sheets of foam board
• Additional red ribbon that can be thinner as the above
• Hot glue gun with LOTS of hot glue sticks
